From the Alps to the Mediterranean
We start from our head office in Munich, which is at the same time our first stop. Beautifully located by the foot of the Alps and surrounded by many lakes, Munich and its region offer a number of excellent excursion opportunities for hikers and sun-seekers alike. Not to forget about those that wish to experience the typical Bavarian cuisine and atmosphere.
We then continue our trip via Austria and Switzerland to France. Don't forget to take your skis or snow boards with you – kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes and fine powder snow will let you become one with this beautiful mountain region.
Heading further South, we leave the snow behind and finally arrive in Spain, the land of flamenco, tappas and splendid beaches. Discover royal Madrid and modern Barcelona before you indulge at the Costa del Sol.
After a short trip to the neighbouring Portugal it is now time for some island hopping. From the Balearics we make our way to Malta which is famous for its outstanding hospitality and its rough romantic charm. Only a little jump direction North on the map we reach our next stop, the volcanic island of Sicily, for sure one of the most authentic places in Italy.
Back on the Italian mainland you will still feel you are on some kind of island. Right – you are in the region of Calabria, which is idyllically located between the Ionic and the Tyrrhenian Sea. This unique and virgin destination offers all facilities that you need for a relaxing family beach holiday and yet it is still off the beaten track!
Pizza, Ouzo and Baklava
Now we exchange pizza and pasta for Čevapčićis (Balkan speciality from the grill) – welcome to Croatia! With 5.800 km of picturesque coastline Croatia is not only a paradise for sailors but also a perfect starting point for excursions to its less known but identically beautiful neighbour Montenegro.
And the Mediterranean has still more to offer – our next stop is the sunny of Cyprus – home to gorgeous Aphrodite. After some relaxing days at the beach, we then continue our way to Turkey where you will be amazed by its diversity and this interesting occidental-oriental atmosphere. Go bargain-hunting in one of its typical bazaars before you indulge in the natural beauty of this country.
Leaving Europe - but not the Mediterranean Sea - behind we continue our way via Syria to the Switzerland of the Orient – Lebanon. Mediterranean flair meets Arabic atmosphere -you will be as surprised as astonished by the unique charm of Beirut!
We continue our way via the royal Jordan all the way to Egypt – the land of the Pharaohs and pyramids. After some sightseeing in Cairo you can relax in any of the typical beach resorts in Hurghada or Sharm el Sheik. Don't miss out to gaze at the colourful underwater world!
Our next destination probably accounts for the most astonishing combination of traditional values and sophisticated technologies – the UAE with their pearl Dubai. Go indoor-skiing on one day and join a desert safari on the other before you enjoy the vibrant night-life of 1001 nights. After so many overwhelming impressions we will now indulge in the tranquillity of Oman – famous for its colourful spice souks and its fascinating dune formations.
The Far East and the New World
Now we leave the Arabic world and head towards Thailand. Here you will find it all – bustling streets in Bangkok, ancient temples in Ayutthaya and paradise-like beaches in Phuket and Ko Samui. If you have enough time, take a chance to visit Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
For the last stop of our round the world with Meeting Point trip we have saved a must see for you – North America. Take your time since this is not only the land of endless opportunities but also of endless space. Soak up the American way of life in New York or L.A., enjoy the most spectacular wonders of nature in one of the well preserved national parks before you finally sit down by a beautiful lake in Canada close to a bond fire while you let your journey memories pass by...
