Munich, Germany -December 13, 2016 -During a press conference that was followed by a lavish ceremony held at the Atlas Medina & Spa in Marakesh, Meeting Point Hotel Management announced its joint-venture with Atlas Hospitality to operate under LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts Brand.  This joint venture sees the hotel management company owned by FTI Group, one of the most successful tour operators in Germany and the most powerful operator in Morocco join forces to create a formidable recipe for success in the world of tourism.

This venture was initiated out of strategic importance for the growth of FTI Group and Meeting Point International in Morocco. Initially three of the Atlas Hotels will be rebranded to LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts under the joint venture, LABRANDA Les Dunes D’or, LABRANDA Targa Club and LABRANDA Les Idrissides Premium Urban Club. By 2020 the group will see the development of three additional hotels in the Chbika region, the most fabulous seaside destination of Morocco facing the Canary Islands, which will add 1000 rooms to the hotel group.

Atlas Hotels and Meeting Point International expressed their gratitude for each other during the press conference for this partnership and stressed the importance of it for the development of the Moroccan tourism industry and potential new projects.

Simultaneously, Meeting Point International and Meeting Point destinations annual conference was taking place at the Le Savoy Grand hotel in Marrakesh. The conference sees chiefs and department heads from 20 Meeting Point countries meet to evaluate previous year achievements and challenges and set the strategy for the upcoming year.
Ms Jouny expressed her pride in the teams’ dedication and achievement by stating, “The political and economical challenges in the past few years had a large impact on our industry but Meeting Point International, with keen effort from all team members, managed to grow and close the year successfully.
