FTI Group organized a full-fledged destination discovery of Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah to some German market travel agents. During the five-day trip, agents explored an exotic desert safari, a beach party at Atlantis, The Palm and a visit to Dubai theme parks through Meeting Point Emirates.

Munich, Germany, 20 February 2017 –More than 200 travel experts from Germany enjoyed sun, sand and extravagance in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah during a Mega fam-trip organized by FTI Group, Europe’s 4th largest tour operator.

“The UAE is a valuable destination to the German market, with its easy access and increasing direct flights, proximity, year-round sunny destination, and excellent facilities and services,” explained Ralph Schiller, FTI Group Managing Director, who has accompanied the tour together with Richard Reindl, Director of Sales & Marketing who commented,  “Every emirate has its own character that caters to various guests’ preferences. Every guest is bound to find his perfect destination at one of the emirates.”

The trip started in Ras Al Khaimah, the emirate that invites vacationers to relax and enjoy the sandy beaches and exclusive hotels. Adventurous guests can opt to venture on desert safaris or explore the Hajar Mountains, others may choose to go on a full day glit and glam shopping trip in Dubai, only an hour away.
During this trip, travel agents experienced, first-hand the charm of Ras Al Khaimah, from fancy hotels, spas, dining and diving to authentic Arabian desert experience, that includes a desert safari with dinner and a Dervish dance show

“The 4×4 adventure was exhilarating,” commented travel agent Öznur Haligür from Flugbörse FORTEX Rheinfelden. “It was great to increase my knowledge about the destination in such a fun-filled way. Now I feel more confidence in advising our clients about the UAE and the array of activities it offers all holiday makers.“

On the third day, the FTI team accompanied the agents to Dubai, which is currently preparing for Expo 2020.  The city of extravagances ensures travelers experience a complete spectrum of the senses from the traditional classics, such as the gold souq, spice souq or the Dubai museum to the glamorous hotels, Burj Khalifa, the world tallest building, Burj Al Arab and the only 7 –star  hotel in the world.  Meeting Point Emirates, a leading destination management company in Dubai, who organized the event made sure that the agents were lavished with Arabian hospitality. In addition to the traditional excursions, the German travel agents went on a  boat trip on Dubai Marina, a visit to the recently opened Dubai Park & Resort followed by a beach party courtesy of Atlantis the Palm Hotel with views over the sparkling city lights. With a light summer rain – that alone is special – all were dancing till late night. “These were exciting days,” summarizes Lennard Müller from sonnenklar.TV travel agency Amberg. “You arrive with certain expectations about the emirates, yet to encounter all this live is simply superb. The variety of experiences allowed me to delve into this culture and this exquisite country.”
